You must minimally hold a Degree in Property Studies or a related field, with 5+ years’ relevant property management and leasing experience. Strong knowledge of property administration, portfolio management, leasing, lease agreements, and property legislation (such as POPI Act) is essential. The role requires strong financial administration skills, including assisting with budgeting, monitoring tenant accounts, managing rental variances, and supporting rental optimisation strategies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the tenant database, coordinating lease renewals, liaising with tenants and internal departments, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements and legal requirements. You will also work closely with the Property Manager to support leasing negotiations, coordinate tenant installations, and maintain strong relationships with tenants and service providers.
Strong organisational, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are required, along with the ability to multi-task, analyse information, manage tasks effectively, and produce accurate reports on portfolio performance.
