Residence Manager Requirements:
You must minimally carry a Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Facilities Management, Building, or similar, with 3–5 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or property management (preferably residential or student housing). You must have strong leadership and communication skills, proven experience in budgeting, people management and contractor oversight, and a solid understanding of Occupational Health & Safety and HR compliance. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with exposure to systems such as MDA and Fraxion. You must hold a Code 08 driver’s licence and be willing to live onsite.
Key responsibilities include managing all operational aspects of the residence including facilities, housekeeping, security, maintenance and health and safety; leading and motivating staff; managing budgets, procurement and financial reporting; overseeing supplier and contractor relationships; coordinating student registration and residence programmes; ensuring compliance with policies and procedures; and addressing and resolving tenant issues. This is a permanent role.
