Estate Manager / Senior Portfolio Manager

Surge Staffing Solutions is recruiting an experienced Estate Manager or Senior Portfolio Manager for a high-profile property in Johannesburg. This is a hands-on role offering immediate availability on a fixed-term contract basis.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and accountable professional to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and operations of this premier estate. You will oversee all aspects of property management, from maintenance and contractor coordination to stakeholder relations and compliance. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is willing to take ownership and ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and operations of the estate
• Ensure the property is maintained to a high standard
• Manage contractors, suppliers and service providers effectively
• Address operational and maintenance matters efficiently and proactively
• Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, owners and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with relevant property management requirements
• Take accountability for the overall functioning of the estate
• Identify issues and implement practical solutions

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management
• Hands-on approach with willingness to be involved operationally
• Accountable, proactive and solutions-driven mindset
• Confident managing contractors, service providers and stakeholders
• Ability to take ownership and maintain high standards
• Professional demeanour with strong communication and organisational skills
• Available to start immediately
