X2 site Supervisors/Site Agents (Bahamas)

About the Role

We are recruiting two experienced Site Supervisors/Site Agents (Roads and Earthworks) for a civil engineering project in the Bahamas. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll oversee daily site operations, manage teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely, on time, and to specification
• Direct site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors, coordinating manpower and resources effectively
• Monitor construction schedules, adjust sequencing, and report progress against milestones
• Ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards
• Implement and enforce site safety procedures, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain risk assessments
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and local authorities on site matters
• Address technical issues, site constraints, and unforeseen conditions with practical solutions
• Maintain site diaries, progress reports, and records of variations or delays
• Supervise civil works including earthworks, drainage, concrete structures, and roadworks
• Verify material deliveries and ensure proper storage and usage
• Conduct inspections and sign off completed works
• Coordinate plant, equipment, and logistics to maintain productivity
• Support commercial teams with site measurements and progress verification

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum 5–7 years' experience in civil engineering projects
• At least 2 years' experience in a site agent or site supervisor role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Solid understanding of civil engineering construction methods
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in site management software and MS Office
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Professional accreditation (ICE, CIOB, or equivalent) preferred
