Quantity Surveyor – Johannesburg

We're seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client's dynamic team on an exciting mining infrastructure project in Johannesburg.

About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll provide expert cost management, procurement support, and commercial oversight across a diverse range of mining infrastructure elements. You'll work on high-impact projects including reinforced concrete structures, access roads and bridges, processing and refining facilities, storage areas, waste management systems, and site drainage solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring projects remain on budget, on schedule, and compliant with all contractual requirements.

Requirements

• BTech or BSc in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 5 years' experience in mining infrastructure projects
• Proven experience with reinforced concrete structures
• Demonstrated expertise in access roads and bridges
• Knowledge of processing and refining facilities
• Experience with storage and stockpile area design and costing
• Familiarity with waste management facilities
• Understanding of site drainage and erosion control principles
• CCS (Compacted Crushed Stone or relevant certification) experience required
• Preference given to candidates available on short notice
