Planner

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Planner to join a dynamic team in Johannesburg, working on some of South Africa's most significant infrastructure projects. This is your opportunity to drive planning excellence on the contractor side of large-scale developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for major infrastructure initiatives
• Monitor project progress against planned timelines and identify risks early
• Coordinate with site teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure scheduling accuracy
• Prepare regular progress reports and forecasting updates
• Optimise resource allocation and project sequencing
• Manage planning software and documentation systems

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Matric) as a minimum qualification
• At least 5 years' proven planning experience on very large infrastructure projects from the contractor's perspective
• Proficiency in CCS (Candy Candy Software)
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Project (MSP)
• Competency in Oracle Primavera
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
