Financial Manager – Durban

We're seeking an accomplished Financial Manager to drive financial strategy and oversight for a dynamic property development and international investment group based in Durban.

About the Role

As Financial Manager, you'll take ownership of critical financial operations spanning multiple jurisdictions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring daily global cash flows and managing the release of international payments via secure online platforms
• Researching and recommending high-yield investment platforms for excess funds while maintaining group liquidity
• Conducting rigorous market and jurisdictional research (tax, audit, and legal) for new property acquisitions or offshore ventures
• Maintaining expert knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and international accounting principles, staying current with legislative changes

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (SA) or equivalent international qualification (e.g., ACCA)
• Minimum of 3–5 years post-article experience in a managerial role, preferably within property development or an international investment group
• Prior experience dealing with SARB applications and offshore tax jurisdictions (specifically UK/HMRC) is highly desirable
• Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and commitment to continued professional development
