About the Role

This is a live-in position where you'll be the heart of student accommodation, responsible for fostering engagement, wellbeing, and personal growth. You'll develop and deliver comprehensive programmes while providing essential support, managing communities, and leading a team of interns to create a thriving residential experience.

Key Responsibilities

Student Support

• Provide emotional, academic, and personal support to students
• Facilitate medical referrals and ensure student wellbeing
• Liaise with parents and create an inclusive environment

Student Life Programmes

• Develop and manage sports, social, academic, and wellness programmes
• Lead orientation and first-year integration initiatives
• Design and execute student leadership development

Student Leadership

• Lead and mentor Student Life Interns
• Recruit interns and conduct weekly planning meetings
• Manage budgets and mentor emerging student leaders

Community Management

• Drive student engagement and enforce house rules
• Handle student discipline referrals and build positive culture
• Foster community development initiatives

Communication & Crisis Management

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders
• Respond to emergencies and manage incidents
• Implement policies and ensure student safety

General Duties

• Drive continuous improvement and provide policy input
• Support departmental objectives

Requirements

• Proven experience in student affairs and community development
• Demonstrated expertise in student support and leadership development
• Strong event management and programme management skills
• Experience with project and budget management
• Proven crisis management and incident response capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, universities, and external organisations
• Must be willing to reside on-site
