Site Engineer – Roads and Earthworks

Surge Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a dynamic team on a roads and earthworks project in Transkei. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact on critical infrastructure development.

About the Role

As Site Engineer, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage quality and compliance, supervise construction teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You'll work on roads and earthworks projects, collaborating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of safety and workmanship.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering (minimum)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on Roads and Earthworks projects
• Experience on major bulk earthworks projects will be highly advantageous
• Strong site management and supervisory skills
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and quality control
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
