We're looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead operations at our Johannesburg facility, overseeing maintenance, repairs, and equipment management for a dynamic construction and civil engineering operation.

About the Role

As Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of workshop operations, including maintenance scheduling, equipment servicing, spare parts inventory, and team supervision. You'll ensure all machinery and vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, minimise downtime, and maintain a safe, compliant working environment. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Workshop Manager or similar supervisory role in construction, mining, or civil engineering
• Strong knowledge of workshop operations, equipment maintenance, and vehicle servicing
• Competency in inventory management and spare parts control
• Leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Health and Safety compliance knowledge and experience
• Proficiency with workshop management systems and basic computer literacy
• Valid driver's license
• Grade 12 qualification minimum; technical qualifications advantageous
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
