We're recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a major roads and earthworks project in Namibia on a long-term contract basis with permanent possibilities.

About the Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a crucial role in managing costs, contracts, and commercial aspects of large-scale roads and earthworks projects. This is a hands-on position requiring someone with substantial experience in the civil engineering and construction sector, particularly within road infrastructure development. You'll be responsible for cost estimation, budget management, contract administration, and ensuring project profitability while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• B-Tech degree in Quantity Surveying or related field (minimum)
• Minimum 10 years of professional QS experience
• At least 5 years at intermediate level on major national roads projects
• Strong commercial and contract management acumen
• Proven track record in earthworks and road construction projects
• Professional registration with relevant bodies (SACQSP or equivalent) advantageous
