Senior Diesel Mechanic / Foreman

We're recruiting an experienced Senior Diesel Mechanic / Foreman to lead maintenance operations and keep critical mining equipment running at peak performance.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position based in Limpopo, where you'll oversee diesel mechanics and maintenance teams while performing advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy earthmoving and yellow plant equipment. You'll be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, managing preventative maintenance schedules, mentoring junior technicians, and maintaining safety standards across all mechanical operations. Your expertise will be critical to minimizing downtime and maximising operational efficiency on site.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience working on earthmoving and yellow plant mining equipment
• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Trade tested certification in diesel mechanics
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in heavy equipment maintenance
• Valid driver's license
